Sweet Dude!

iGames is proud to present to you the Killer Launch Detected Tournament, sponsored by Bigfoot Networks and Alienware.  Check out the link through GamerzFunk.  This is a 1v1 tournament hosted across the U.S. and Canada at local gaming centers.  I hesitate to post this on here, as it isn't necessarily a "local" tournament, but because it is played at local gaming centers, I'll throw it up here anyway.  Registration ends September 5th, so hurry and register!  Over $1600 in prizes will be given to the top 16 players.  So, represent the Utah SC2 community and sign up for this awesome tournament today.  Click here to register!  Good luck to those that sign up!

  1. My problem with this is that GamerzFunk will make a killing off of this while not having to pay anything out. I read the rules on it and they can charge $25 a day for LAN prelims.... I don't know about you but I don't want to pay over $100 to play through prelims just to get to the part where I can win something, especially when the prize pool is only $1600. Unless you get first/second then you will be losing a TON of money to play in this :\ So I would recommend this to Gavin only.

  2. Ya, I agree. Seems like it'd be quite a bit of money to throw out just to get a chance to play. If you don't think you can win anything, than this tournament isn't for you. I think GamerzFunk is the only one benefiting from a tournament like this. Besides, you'll be battling it out with the top North American players. So, if you're THAT good, then sign up. If not, don't waste your time and money!
